Benedikt Schulz speaks at the 3rd International Conference on Law and Religions
Benedikt Schulz (Chair of Architectural Design and Construction I) will give a lecture on "Visual Language in Religion" at the 3rd International Conference on Law and Religions in Furth bei Göttweig (Austria) on 28.03.2025. In his lecture on "Space and Liturgy", he will talk about the task of architecture to shape space, the living space of people.
The 3rd International Conference on Law and Religions is dedicated to the visual and thus to an important interdisciplinary area. Whether robes in the courtroom, symbols in religious ceremonies and much more: the visual is an approach to legal and religious topics and its interpretation is an important task of current research.
Participants can choose from two different thematic focuses:
- Thematic focus I: Visual language in religion
- Topic II: The visual language of law
The conference is organized by the Department of Law and International Relations of the University for Continuing Education Krems (A) in cooperation with the Institute of Catholic Theology and its Didactics of the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg.
