2020 Healthcare Environment Award for Dr.-Ing. Maja Kevdzija (SGB)
The catalogue of design guidelines for stroke rehabilitation clinics ("Transitional Model for Stroke Rehabilitation Clinics") developed in the PhD thesis of Dr.-Ing. Maja Kevdzija was selected for the 2020 Healthcare Environment Awards in the category Student Winner for Post-Graduate Project. The jurors that reviewed the project agreed that it demonstrated high achievement in innovation and design excellence.
The Healthcare Environment Awards honor innovative architectural and interior design solutions across a range of typologies that enhance the quality of healthcare delivery. This award is given by The Center for Health Design (Concord, CA, USA), a nonprofit organization that advances best practices and empowers healthcare leaders with quality research that demonstrates the value of design to improve health outcomes, patient experience of care, and provider/staff satisfaction and performance.
