Book tip: System & Series

In the latest issue of BAUWELT (25.2024, 06.12.2024), Professor Ansgar Schulz and Professor Benedikt Schulz (Chair of Architectural Design and Construction I) discuss the publication "System & Serie. Systembau in der Schweiz - Geschichte und Erhaltung", which was published by the System & Series working group of ICOMOS Switzerland, the Swiss national group of the International Council on Monuments and Sites.

For the first time, the book takes a comprehensive, well-founded and interdisciplinary look at system building in Switzerland. As an inventory of existing buildings, it pays unbiased tribute to the building systems developed and system buildings realized here and at the same time offers a guide for dealing with them in terms of monument preservation.
