Special prize of the Lenné-Academy in the AIV-Schinkel-Competition 2023 "City instead of A 104"

Congratulations to the three prizewinners: Annemarie Henßler, Tamara Jakoby and Mona Schäfer from the Chair of Landscape Architecture at the TU Dresden for the special prize of the Lenné-Academy in the Category of Landscape Architecture of the AIV-Schinkel-Competition 2023 "City instead of A 104"!
With their competition entry "Green A' of the '104" they propose to preserve the disused section of the A 104 motorway in Berlin, to establish it with various vegetation communities and thus to transform it into a climate-active, performative water and fine dust filter as well as fresh air producers to improve the urban microclimate.

The winning entries of the AIV-Schinkel-Competition 2023 "City instead of A 104" will be exhibited in the auditorium of the UdK, Hardenbergstraße 33, 10623 Berlin and will be on display from 13.-26. March 2023 daily from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (room 201).
