Building parameters for the case study
The design approach allows the estimation of the space requirements for geothermal collectors and PV areas for residential buildings with a given thermal insulation level. In contrast to previously known, simplified methods, it has a higher precision, since the systems used take into account the temporal profiles of revenue and demand. It does not rely on complete self-supply, but determines economic optima that also take into account the supply of energy to the grid.
