What opportunities does the master’s program offer for specializing in landscape planning?
You don’t have to become a site-planning designer in the TUD’s Master’s program in Landscape Architecture: If you want, you can focus almost exclusively on landscape planning! As the overview below shows, the Master’s program offers a wealth of landscape planning modules that are in no way inferior to those of a separate landscape planning degree program. Rather, the structure of the Master’s program allows you to develop your own specialized focus, which benefits from the breadth of the university’s offerings at TUD and can easily be situated at the intersection of landscape planning and other
disciplinary fields, such as hydraulic engineering, regional planning and urban design, open-space planning, the social sciences, or many others. Find your very own academic profile!

| Master’s Thesis : Students may choose a topic related to landscape planning. The work may take a scientific, planning-conceptual, or design-oriented approach. Each semester offers a wide range of options, and individual topics are possible by arrangement. (19 weeks) |

You can make a new choice each semester, as the majority of modules offer new and current topics every semester. And of course, an Erasmus study abroad program can be easily integrated into your studies.
