Model Project Smart City: 15th regional conference of the federal program takes place in Dresden (June 12)
The 15th regional conference of the federal program Model Projects Smart Cities (MPSC), in which the "WISSENSARCHITEKTUR - Laboratory of Knowledge Architecture" is involved together with the state capital Dresden, will take place on 12 June in Dresden. The one-day event will focus on the topic "Shaping a smart future: Towards a sustainable and climate-friendly city and region".
The event will take place at the Institute for Wood Technology (IHD) and offers a diverse, interactive program: Impulses from municipal practice, workshops, networking formats and panel discussions with partner:s from other municipalities and expert:s from science. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jörg Rainer Noennig and Anja Jannack (WISSENSARCHITEKTUR and Scientific Leader of the Smart City Dresden model project) will take part in the workshop "Participation in the Smart City".
At the regional conference, municipalities from Saxony and the surrounding area can learn about exciting measures relating to smart energy districts, participation in the smart city and flood prevention in smart cities and regions. There will also be plenty of opportunities for networking. Following the official program, the Smart City Dresden model project will host a get-together at the Haus der Presse.
The event of the Federal Ministry of Housing, Urban Development and Building (BMWSB) is organized by the Coordination and Transfer Office Model Projects Smart Cities (KTS).
