Project Description
In the city of Dresden, the campus of the TU Dresden has a special position in the city's energy budget due to its central location, size and the high number of people involved. With regard to the energy transition in Germany, a major contribution can be made here through transformation processes at the district level.
The CAMPER-MOVE research project is dedicated to the challenges that arise within the course of energy optimisation of the campus site. It builds on the previous project CAMPER (funded by BMWi, FKZ 03ET1319A, period 10/2015 - 03/2019), in which an energy and greenhouse gas development plan was drawn up on the basis of an in-depth energy analysis of the entire TU campus and supported by specific measures.
In CAMPER-MOVE, practical implementations are to be supported by scientific monitoring and optimisation and evaluated in terms of impact and practical suitability. The experience gained will be incorporated into further conceptual considerations. The word "MOVE" symbolises the transformation process towards an energy efficiency campus
