Content of the module:
- Mechanical and physical properties of glass
- Glass production and processing
- Structural application of glass in buildings
- Mechanical and adhesive connections
- Glass and facade design and engineering
- Calculation methods and modelling
After having finished the module successfully students have in-depth knowledge on the structural use of glass, the safety concept and respective building regulations.
