New literature - 3D-Druck - Praxisbuch für Einsteiger (German)
The Institute for Construction Informatics is pleased to announce new literature. Among others, the book 3D-Druck - Praxisbuch für Einsteiger by Thomas Kaffka (2. Auflage) (2020) is now available.

The author explains the entire 3D printing process in a practical way. Using simple examples, you will learn how to create your own 3D models using free software such as SketchUp, Paint 3D, 3D Builder and Blender. Alternatively, the author shows you how and where to find suitable print templates on the Internet and how to create models using 3D scanning.
You will also learn how to optimally prepare your models for printing and how to print them. The focus is on the use of different printing materials (filaments) and the most important printing parameters such as temperature, filling structure and support structures.
