Competence Bauinformatik

With the so called "Competence Track Bauinformatik" TU Dresden offers an unique and flexible option to junior and senior students to acquire specialist knowledge and practical skills related to Digital Engineering and Construction. Students can choose between the below listed alternatives. (Further information for downloading )

(1) Personalized Curriculum

In this case students choose with their academic mentor an individual set of modules.
Core modules offered by our Chair can be flexibly combined with modules offered by the specialization tracks (ger.: Vertiefungsrichtungen).
Students who choose this option start highly motivated as 'Domain Experts' in world-class, multi-national engineering firms, construction companies but also in the IT-sector. 

(2) Bauinformatik as part of the Computational Engineering Track (CE):

Alternatively, students can study our core modules as part of the 'Vertiefungsrichtung Computational Engineering' (CE).

(3) Bauinformatik in all other Specialization Tracks ('Vertiefungsrichtungen')

Finally, students from all other specialization tracks can integrate our modules as specified in the cataloges "BIW-3", "BIW-4" or "KI-2", "KI-3" and "WU-2" respectively.
