As IBB, we are partners in the Free State of Saxony's ‘SPAteN’ project (Saxon project for the reduction of technically dispensable standards in housing construction) together with Lab Wissensarchitektur. The aim of the project is to identify bureaucratic hurdles in housing construction from a practical perspective. Based on this, the focus is on developing proposals for the abolition and simplification of regulations and procedures in order to accelerate construction processes in the long term. The successful implementation of the project requires both sound practical construction know-how and scientific expertise in order to holistically address this high-potential undertaking.
