Abstract:
This paper identifies potential market entry barriers for the establishment of carbon concrete construction in France. For this purpose, the material carbon concrete is first described and the special features compared to conventional building materials are explained. Furthermore, an overview of the French construction market was given in order to identify possible ways for carbon concrete to enter this market. The existing building materials with which carbon concrete competes are described comparatively. In the last part, economic considerations are set up, evaluating the information presented in the preceding chapters and examining the barriers to entry into the French market for carbon concrete.
