Abstract:
In this work, an evaluation procedure was developed with which it is possible to compare different, predominantly hand-guided demolition methods under predefined criteria. In order to clarify the necessity of such an evaluation procedure, the current and expected development of existing measures was explained in advance. Various demolition methods were worked out in detail as a data basis for carrying out the evaluation procedure. The data basis was elaborated in such detail that the criteria of material quality, surface quality, selectivity, costs, demolition performance, wear and tear, personnel and equipment expenditure, occupational safety and emission pollution could be assessed accordingly. For each evaluation criterion, a comparison table was drawn up to serve as an aid in choosing the evaluation score. The evaluation was carried out on the basis of typical application scenarios arising in building in existing contexts. The results largely reflect practice, taking into account the current state of the art. Especially in the future, however, evaluation methods can help to integrate new demolition technologies and building materials into the list of already established methods.
