Location / Access

By plane

From Dresden Airport  in the north of the state capital, there is a S-Bahn connection (every 30 minutes with the S2 directly) to the main station (travel time approximately 20 minutes). Alternatively, you can take the city bus 77 from Dresden Airport to Dresden "Infineon Nord" and then tram line 7 (direction Pennrich) to the main station.

From Dresden main station, the campus can be reached on foot, by bus or tram:

• bus line 66 (direction Mockritz/Südhöhe) to the stop Fritz-Förster-Platz (TU Dresden)
• tram line 3 (direction Coschütz) or line 8 (direction Südvorstadt) to the stop Nürnberger Platz

The laboratory can be reached either by bus line 61 (direction Bühlau) or on foot (Zellescher Weg eastbound).

By train

From Dresden main station, the campus can be reached on foot, by bus or tram:

• bus line 66 (direction Mockritz/Südhöhe) to the stop Fritz-Förster-Platz (TU Dresden)
• tram line 3 (direction Coschütz) or line 8 (direction Südvorstadt) to the stop Nürnberger Platz

By car from the west (Chemnitz/Leipzig)

Leave the A4 motorway at the exit Dresden-Altstadt and follow the signs for Prague (E 55). The route leads via the Emmerich-Ambross-Ufer, Nossener Brücke and Nürnberger Straße / later Zellescher Weg directly to the laboratory (about 500 m after the crossing Fritz-Förster-Platz).

By car from the north and east (Bautzen/Berlin)

Leave the A4 motorway at the exit Dresden-Hellerau and follow the signs for Prague (E 55) to the campus of the TU Dresden. The route leads via Radeburger Straße, Hansastraße, Schlesischer Platz, Hainstraße, Große Meißner Straße, Köpckestraße, Carolaplatz, across the Elbe river on the Carola-Brücke, straight across Pirnascher Platz towards the main station. After the main station, please continue straight ahead. At the third traffic light after the main station (Fritz-Förster-Platz) turn left into Zellescher Weg. After about 500 meters you will reach the laboratory on the right side.
