Abstract

The aim of the project is to determine the influence of the compositions of asphalt wearing and binder course mixtures on their performance properties and to develop an approach for asphalt design using performance-oriented test methods. On the basis of the laboratory tests and the prognosis calculations, the approach for the asphalt design is developed, which is to optimize the asphalt mixtures with regard to their properties and requirements.
