Do it Now - Sustainability week from 15 - 19.06.2026

For the fifth time, TU Dresden is transforming itself into a center for sustainability with its Sustainability Week in June - this time together with HTW Dresden. During the "DO it NOW" action week between June 15 and 19, 2026, the diverse activities and stakeholders of the universities and urban society in the field of sustainability will be presented.

For example, you can have inspiring conversations with stakeholders in the fields of education, nutrition or sustainability at a free breakfast "Educational snacks and future chat" on 18.06.25 between 10 a.m. and 12 noon(registration required). Workshops on sustainable procurement, digital cleanup, education for sustainable development at elementary school and non-violent communication will take place, as will presentations on biodiversity and the implementation of urban cooling islands in urban areas. You can look forward to networking events such as the Sustainable Coffee Hour with pitches from various institutions in the city or the Environment Commission's "Together for Sustainability" event. And you can be part of the Linux Install Party on June 18 from 6.30 pm. Clothes swaps, exhibitions, stands, film evenings and much more round off the program.
