Under this motto, the Society of Friends and Supporters of the Technical University of Dresden  (GFF e.V.) promotes their teaching award for the 2020/2021 academic year.

The award is intended to honor the commitment of teaching staff at TU Dresden in training and further education.

Proposals from every faculty as well as the central institutions with study programs have the chance to receive a teaching award - the prerequisite for this is the submission of corresponding applications.

Award-worthy concepts are:

• Creative - teaching and examination formats that focus on imparting skills and take different types of learners into account
• Interactive - courses that encourage students to deal independently with current topics
• Participatory - training formats that prepare for possible occupational fields or enable research experience

The students, the deans of studies, the school speakers, the deans, the extended rectorate, the student councils, and the student council of the TU Dresden are entitled to make proposals. The prizes can be given to individuals or groups of people. The prize money is intended for the further development of teaching.

With this form, suggestions can be sent to the board of the Society of Friends and Patrons of the Technische Universität Dresden e. V. by email to or directly via the Website by August 31, 2021.
