Municipal Museum and Gallery Neo Rauch

Aschersleben and Neo Rauch - the oldest town in Saxony-Anhalt and one of the most important painters of modern times. Neo Rauch is very closely associated with the city of Aschersleben. He grew up here and the Neo Rauch Graphic Foundation, which he founded, has been exhibiting his graphic work since 2012.

In the middle of the old town, the new Kulturinsel Aschersleben with the Städtisches Museum and the Galerie Neo Rauch for his large-format oil paintings is to be built on a unique plot of land. In cooperation with the city of Aschersleben and Neo Rauch, we will work on this design topic in the coming semester in the diploma and in-depth design and will conduct a joint excursion at the beginning of the semester.
