STEM scholarship holders 2025 - 10 high school graduates start their studies with a scholarship
The GFF STEM scholarships were awarded for the seventh time to high school graduates who started studying this subject group in the winter semester of 2025. Together with Vice-Rector Academic Affairs and Lifelong Learning Professor Dr.-Ing. Niels Modler, GFF Managing Director Dr. Undine Krätzig presented the certificates and backpacks to the 10 selected students.
They will begin their studies in the following subjects:
- Computer Science
- Civil Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Molecular Biology and Biotechnology
- Physics
The event took place in the Cube, the world's first building made of carbon concrete.
This building was created in 2021 and 2022 in an interdisciplinary collaboration between industry and science under the umbrella of the C³ - Carbon Concrete Composite association. It is made entirely of non-metallic reinforced concrete and is a unique research object that not only creates workspaces, but also provides insights into this innovative and sustainable building material. The right place to introduce the scholarship holders to the TUD as a research location.
We look forward to the academic year together and wish them every success!
