Start your studies with a MINT-EC scholarship - apply now!
In order to make it easier for students of the MINT-EC schools to start their studies, the Society of Friends and Supporters of the TU Dresden e. V. is offering ten scholarships again this year.
"To conduct interdisciplinary research and meet current challenges with innovation and inventive talent" - this is how Matthias Bier, one of the scholarship holders of the 2020/2021 academic year, describes his choice of studies. He is studying electrical engineering in the 2nd semester and has chosen the TU Dresden due to the numerous specialization options and the excellence status. “Every beginning is difficult” - the start of studies in autumn 2020 was still a bit bumpy, the pandemic has shifted a lot to digital. “Fortunately, however, the introductory week was able to take place and there is a buddy program in my course where I was able to answer a lot of questions. That definitely helped with settling in at the university. "
New students who have completed their Abitur at a MINT-EC school can apply for a MINT-EC scholarship from July 15 to September 2. For the first time, the scholarship can also be awarded to student teachers in the MINT subjects.
Information on application and courses of study can be found on August 26th. from 5 to 6 p.m. in the chat: tud.de/mint-ec-stipendium
