Newsletter Launch at the Writing Center
What's been a long time coming is finally happening: we're launching our (German-language) Writing Center Newsletter in mid-December 2021! (Click here to sign up for the newsletter!).
In the newsletter, you can expect new content and discussions about academic writing and reading as well as insights into the work of the Writing Center team every two months. In this way, we would like to provide tips and suggestions for academic writing and reading, and at the same time report on current events. Along with the newsletter, we also launch two news series that are linked in each issue:
- In the "Steile These" (more or less a "tough thesis") each time a different team member comments on a writing didactic topic for further discussion, reflection, and/or experimentation.
- The "Gute Frage" ("Good Question") addresses questions from writing consultations and, of course, provides at least an initial response.
This also picks up on the origin of our newsletter idea: Continuing Education. The first idea for a newsletter at the Writing Center came out of a workshop at the end of 2018, when we sent out more tips and methods to try out in everyday university life in the weeks following the event - and today we have finally advanced our newsletter project to the point where we can regularly send tips to your inbox. We are also looking forward to your wishes and feedback via e-mail to .
We will send out the first newsletter on 15.12.2021 and here you can subscribe to the newsletter. We are looking forward to a broad readership!
