The National Consultation Workshop on Disaster Management and Resilient Infrastructure in Changing Climate and Environmental Risks (RESSUMMIT 2025) was hosted by the Integrated Centre for Adaptation to Climate Change, Disaster Risk Reduction and Sustainability (ICARS) at IIT Roorkee, India on February 10-11, 2025. The workshop brought together government agencies, policy institutions and international organizations to emphazise disaster risk reduction (DRR), climate change adaptation and resilient infrastructure.

In an online address during the "Special Session on Adaptation, Resilience, and Sustainability Network (ADRES)", André Lindner, representing TU Dresden as an invited expert, had the opportunity to present key insights on the importance of integrated collaboration for creating resilient solutions in the face of increasing climate-related threats.

The event is another example of the growing Indo-German partnerships at TU Dresden and underscores the urgency of integrated approaches to policy planning, strategic action and capacity building to address climate and environmental risks.
