Data protection/declaration of consent for newsletter
The declaration provides information on the processing of personal data for sending the newsletter "BUnews" of the TU Dresden's Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (information obligations according to GDPR).

The data is processed exclusively for sending the "BUnews". The newsletter is sent out four times a year.

The legal basis for the processing of personal data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR (consent), i.e. the utilisation of and consent to the associated processing of your personal data are voluntary.

Only your email address is processed for the purpose of sending the newsletter.

Your e-mail address will be processed until you withdraw your consent. This does not affect the legality of processing based on consent until revocation.
Is personal data transmitted to recipients, who at TU Dresden has access to this data and is data collected from third parties?
The e-mail address is stored by an external provider who has been contractually checked and bound in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. Unless otherwise stipulated by law or you have expressly consented in individual cases, no personal data will be transferred to third parties.

The provision of personal data is voluntary. Consent to the processing of personal data can be revoked at any time in accordance with Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR with the consequence that the personal data of the person concerned will no longer be processed. - Right to information (Art. 15 GDPR)
