About CIPSEM
CIPSEM was founded at TU Dresden in 1977 with the support of UNESCO and the United Nations Environmental Program (UNEP). Since 1990, the training program is funded by the Federal Ministry of the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV) and TU Dresden. For the implementation of the UNEP/UNESCO/BMUV Training Program as well as for the design and realization of the courses, the CIPSEM team is advised by an international steering committee, as well as a very dedicated curriculum committee. The teaching staff consists of professors and experts of TU Dresden as well as from other national and international governmental and non-governmental environment-related institutions, representatives from the industrial sector and specialists from abroad.
