Representatives from the Chinese Academy of Forestry (CAF) visit in Tharandt

CAF Vice-President Y. Li recently visited the TUD campus of forest sciences at Tharandt. The discussions focused on current and future cooperation. Mr. Yi was accompanied by Ms. Y. Gu, Division of International Cooperation, and Prof. Y. Wang, who for about 20 years has worked together with the group of Prof. K.H. Feger on water  dynamics of forests, in particular of afforested sites in the Loess Plateau region. Speaker Prof. K. Kalbitz and the Vice-Dean for Research, Prof. G. von Oheimb, were pleased to present the Department of Forest Sciences and the Faculty of Environmental Sciences to the visitors from Beijing.
