On April 26, 2023, the new programme advisory committee for the Department of Forest Sciences was appointed by the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Environmental Sciences for a five-year term. In addition to long-standing members, there were also some new appointments. The Vice Dean of Research of the Faculty of Envrionmental Sciences and the Dean of Studies of the Department of Forest Sciences thanked all members for their voluntary commitment.
The committee of 11 external experts advises the Department on questions of teaching and research. At this year's meeting with the Study Commission and other professors, the focus was on introducing newly appointed professors and their areas of teaching and research. On the second day, current developments and medium-term forecasts on the labor market and the ideas and wishes of employers and graduates were discussed.
