My primary interest lies in understanding the role of the structural composition of forest ecosystems.
Here, I am focusing on:
- Responses of forest and tree structure to biodiversity
- Effects of structure on ecosystem functioning
- Assessing forest structure with modern methods such as high-resolution laser scanning (LiDAR)
