Registration for the 2022 interdisciplinary field trips
The following interdisciplinary field trips are offered in the 2022 summer term:
FOBF 39: Western Germany and the Netherlands field trip ("Western excursion")
Date: 06.09.2022 to 14.09.2022 (introductory seminar + 8 field trip days)

Own funds: 240 €
Exam form: presentation during the introductory seminar or during the field trip
Credits: 5 ECTS
Corona alternative: If the field trip has to be cancelled due to Corona, a digital field trip will be offered as successfully conducted in the 2020 and 2021 summer semesters. All information and field reports by students can be found here: https://youtu.be/tAjBLMErgTc. The digital field trip consists of individual work during July-September and a final video conference in September.
FOBF 40: Low mountain ranges and hill country field trip ("Southern excursion")
Date: 09.06.2022 to 14.06.2022 (6 field trip days)

Exam form: written report after exkursion
Credits: 5 ECTS
Corona alternative: If the field trip has to be cancelled due to Corona, an alternative excursion will be offered in the form of several day trips starting from Tharandt or its surroundings without overnight stays.
FOBF 41: North German Lowland field trip ("Northern excursion")
Date: 20.09.2022 to 27.09.2022 (introductory seminar + 8 field trip days)

Credits: 5 ECTS
Corona alternative: If the field trip has to be cancelled due to Corona, an alternative excursion will be offered in the form of several day trips starting from Tharandt or its surroundings without overnight stays.
Additional excursion: Forests in Climate Change - an excursion with international exchange of experience (Saxony, Lower Saxony, Thuringia)
Date: 30.06.2022 to 04.07.2022 (from 02.07.2022 to 04.07.2022 together with 20 forestry students and 3 professors from Wageningen University, Netherlands)

Limited number of participants (total of 20, of which 10 are already taken up by participants from the previous year)
Registration for the four offered field trips in the 2022 summer semester is possible from January 3, 2022 (12:00 a.m.) to January 31, 2022 (11:59 p.m.). Registration is only visible within the mentioned time period.
