New publication by Prof. Dr. Michael Müller on wildfires in Germany

The large wildfire events in Germany in 2018 and 2019 have brought the discussion on the importance of wildfires in Germany and their prevention, monitoring, prognosis and control into the focus of media again.
To provide a professional and well-founded basis for these discussions and to describe the experience from the past, the first part of an article by Prof. Dr. Michael Müller on wildfires in Germany was published in AFZ-DerWald, volume 18/2019, which is soon to be followed by the second part.
