Tharandt Convention (T.con) on May 4th, 2022

On May 4th, 2022 the T.con took place again in the Judeich Bau in Tharandt after a long break due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Following the question of „What research do we actually do?“ nine presentations provided insights into the work of several professorships and their various research topics. Students and staff were able to get information on fascinating topics that are usually not convered in the common lectures but are nevertheless an essential part of university life. These included among others intercontinental cooperation, technical innovations for timber harvesting, novel insect traps and a revolutionary production of seeds. A big thank you goes to the T.con organizers Franziska Höhn, Jana Hildebrandt and Janosch Heinermann for their initiative to give research on the Tharandt campus a public stage as well as to the Heinrich Cotta Club, whose catering completed the successful evening.
