Workshops in statistics

We regularly offer courses on selected topics of applied statistics, for example, on multivariate techniques, time series, spatial statistics or on using the popular statistics software R. The courses are targeted at graduate or Ph.D. students and other members of the Faculty of Environmental Sciences. Depending on the participants, the course language is either English, German or a combination of both.

The summerschool

The course conveys skills and experience in the application and analysis of individual- and agent-based models in the context of scientific problems. The course uses the NetLogo modeling environment and software for statistical analyses (e.g., R).

Members of the faculty of environmental sciences can participate in courses in statistics offered by Dr. Robert Schlicht.
