Facilities
DendroLab offers state-of-the-art facilities for performing tree-ring based studies. Besides infrastructure and equipment for sample collection and preparation, diverse measurement systems for xylogenetic, wood anatomical and tree-ring analyses are available. Wood density measurements are furthermore possible on a 'Dendro2003'-system running in Tharandt. Lastly, we have access to excellent microscopy facilities at BioDIP with diverse light (such as the Zeiss Axio Scan 2.1 slide scanner) as well as electron microscopes.
