Climate talk on tree rings as silent witnesses

As part of the public online seminar series of the University of Applied Sciences Weihenstephan - Triesdorf 'Climate Talks', Marieke van der Maaten-Theunissen gave a lecture on 'Tree rings as silent witnesses: How do forests respond to ongoing climate change?'. The question what information tree rings capture was discussed and illustrated with examples from research performed at our Chair as well as from the literature.
