New postdoc investigates drought stress tolerance of beech provenances

Within the joint research project BucheTIG, we are happy to welcome Lucrezia Unterholzner as a new postdoc! Lucrezia will be working on the drought stress tolerance of selected beech provenances under contrasting environmental conditions using tree-ring-based and plant-ecological methods. From her studies and Ph.D.-project at the University of Padova (Italy), she brings in highly valuable expertise in quantitative wood anatomical analyses. Welcome in our group!
