Terrestrial laser scanning of monitoring site

As part of the module "BSc GG20: Current research topics in geodesy", students from TU Dresden scanned one of our forest monitoring sites with a terrestrial laser scanner and analyzed the data. Unique insights into stand structure could be gained, which are particularly relevant here as the area is currently set up as a marteloscope.
