The workshop is organized by TU Dresden as part of the FENIX project. FENIX is a collaborative initiative involving TU Liberec, TU Dresden, the IHI Zittau of TU Dresden, the Ralsko Geopark, the North Bohemian Museum in Liberec, and the Senckenberg Museum of Natural History Görlitz. The project aims to develop materials and methods for a joint cross-border research-based field education program for primary and secondary school teachers, tour guides, conservationists, and museum professionals, focusing on geography, geology, ecology, and landscape protection in the Czech-Saxon border region.
FENIX is co-financed by the European Union under Interreg SN – CZ.
