Important information points: the examination offices

• Information concerning the organisation of studies and examinations is provided by the relevant examination offices on their websites. Among other things, you can find the study regulations and the examination regulations there.

• For Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes in Geography, you will find corresponding information on the website of the Examination Office.

• For the teacher training programmes in Geography, you will find corresponding information on the website of the Center for Teacher Education and Educational Research (Zentrums für Lehrerbildung, Schul- und Berufsbildungsfor­schung, ZLSB).

Examination dates

• Examination dates for all Geography degree programmes (Bachelor's, Master's, teaching) are announced website of the Examination Office.
• Concerning the preparation of term papers, presentations, etc., the requirements announced in the corresponding course are decisive (in addition to the requirements in the study and examination regulations).

Registration for examinations

• In principle, prior registration is required for each examination.
  The registration is only possible during certain specified periods.
• The dates for registering for examinations are announced on the website of the Examination Office.
• Students who are officially enrolled in one of the Geography degree programmes can usually register for examinations online via selma (Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes) or HISQIS (teacher training programme).
