Success at StuFoExpo 2026: A member of our Chair receives an award

At StuFoExpo 2026, the Student Research Exposition organized jointly by students and the Center for Interdisciplinary Learning and Teaching (ZiLL) at TUD Dresden University of Technology, our colleague Lisa Lang won the jury prize for best poster with her poster presentation. During a two-minute poster pitch followed by a poster session, she impressed the jury with her clear presentation of her research findings.

In her poster, Lisa Lang presented the results of her state examination thesis on the occurrence of the fire salamander at two streams in the urban area of Dresden. The study included nighttime larval surveys using visual observation as well as the recording of associated fauna during the 2025 season. In addition, water- and structural parameters were collected to assess the habitat quality of the studied watercourses.
