New appointees
The Junior Professorship for Sustainable Urban Futures took up its work in April 2024. The Chair is assigned to the Institute of Geography in the Faculty of Environmental Sciences and deals with current and future issues of urban research.
- In teaching, the Junior Professorship offers modules in the field of undergraduate education (e.g. general introductions to urban research) as well as in-depth modules (research-based learning).
- In research, the Junior Professorship addresses issues of spatial justice, as well as the processes and stakeholders and different urban settings.
The Junior Professorship website is still under construction and will be continuously updated.
