Student Assistant (m/f/d)

The Chair of Geoinformatics has a project vacancy for a student assistant. In the context of the Open Science initiative CODECHECK, TU Dresden has been awarded a contract research project to develop a prototype for the integration of CODECHECK into Open Journal Systems. Open Journal Systems (OJS) is the world's most widely used platform for publishing scientific journals. CODECHECK provides an approach to effectively check the reproducibility of computer-based analyses as part of the publication process.

Do you have knowledge in one or more of the following topics?

• Software development with PHP (required)
• Web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• UX design (user-centered design, participatory design)
• Collaborative software development with GitHub

Would you like to improve your programming skills and gain insights into the innovative development of scientific infrastructure? Then we would like to welcome you to our team. The scope of work is 8h/week and can be adjusted as needed. The contract period is 1 year.
