New research project to map historical land cover in Saxony
Within a new research project funded by the Saxon State Office for Environment, Agriculture and Geology, we will map the land cover in Saxony for the period 1964 to 1984. Therefore, we will use historical "CORONA"-imagery of the US spy programme "Keyhole" and analyse this data with methods from artificial intelligence.
