Colloquium for Environmental Remote Sensing
The Colloquium for Environmental Remote Sensing is the forum, where we present and discuss our work in progress. The colloquium is also central to ensure a frequent, regular and close supervision of Bachelor and Master students during their theses.
Who can participate? All students, SHKs, WHKs, employees, guests, and friends of the Environmental Remote Sensing Group. Please contact Naixin Fan if you wanto to participate or to give a presentation.
When? The colloquium takes place every Thursday at 10:00-11:00. Any changes and topics of each colloquium are anounced through the ers-students mailing list.
Where? In room HÜL-W442 and online.
How? Presenters prepare for the Colloquium:
- 1 slide on the background of your topic: What are you doing and why?
- max. 3 slides or figures showing your recent results ("figure of the week“) or problems that you would like to discuss ("challenge of the week")
- 1 slide about your next steps
- Note that we don’t expect presentations with final and ready-to-submit results but rather short updates on your work in progress.
- 15-20 min/person presentation + 10 min discussion
