Teaching

The group offers currently classes in the studies BSc Geography, BSc Geodesy and Geoinformation, MSc Geography, MSc Geoinformation technologies, MSc Geodesy, MSc Cartography and MSc Tropical Forestry. We teach at the interface between classical remote sensing (sensors, data, methods), environmental sciences (carbon and water cycles, climate change, ecosystem modelling), and data science (statistics, time series analysis, image analysis, machine learning, parameter retrieval).
