Astronomy Group and Lohrmann Observatory
The Astronomy Group and the Lohrmann Observatory, together with the Professur für geodätische Erdsystemforschung, constitute the Institute of Planetary Geodesy at the Technische Universität Dresden.
Besides the education of students we are involved in various international research projects.

Due to the reconstruction of our building (the Beyerbau) you can reach us after September 2016 in the office blocks of August-Bebel-Straße. During the reconstruction we are not able to provide guided tours in the observatory.
