A new study out !
"Based on our data, we believe that the same ARGs will respond very differently to the same intervention worldwide as geography confounds both differences in genomic background, plasmid carriage, co-resistance, and mobilization potential to a much larger degree than we anticipated. This suggests that solutions will need to be adapted to local conditions. National Action Plans should be supported by local genomic surveillance that can inform interventions and be used to evaluate outcomes, whether they be local, national, or even regional. "
