Successful participation of the IAK in the 22nd Moritzburg Castle Triathlon

On Saturday, 15.06.2024, two mixed teams took part in the relay competitions on the "half distance" of the castle triathlon in Moritzburg.
"Half distance" means: 1.9 km swimming, 87 km cycling and 21 km running, whereby the swimming had to be replaced this time by a 3.9 km run due to the Moritzburg castle pond being closed for hygiene reasons.
The participants of the Institute of Waste Management and Circular Economy were able to achieve excellent places in the midfield as the two teams "IAK KreisLäufer" and "IAK ReCycler". A result that is all the more remarkable when you consider that a large proportion of the starting field were semi-professional or professional athletes.
