Student Assistant wanted, Directorate Student Affairs and Continuing Education
In the Directorate Student Affairs and Continuing Education, the International Office is looking to fill the position of a
stud. Assistant (m/f/d) (4h/week in March/April and 2h/week from May to July)
until 31.07.2026 (tutorial limited to lecture period) for one student each for the
International Tutorial Program for the following faculties:
- Architecture and Landscape
- Electrical Engineering and Information Technology
- Mechanical Engineering
- Business Administration and Economics
The duration of employment is based on the WissZeitVG and the SächsHSG in conjunction with the TdL guidelines for Student Assistants and Research Assistants of 28.02.2024.
Tasks: Activity as a tutor to ensure the success of studies, esp.
- Preparation and implementation of tutorials on study and examination organization as well as social integration for international students in their first semester at the university in German and English in close coordination with the Student Advisory Service, Examination Office, ERASMUS Coordination and Faculty Student Council of the respective faculty as well as
- Preparation and implementation of tutorials for subject orientation for TUD students preparing for their studies in the preparatory course or preparatory college
Prerequisites:
- Enrolled student at one of the above-mentioned faculties or the above-mentioned field in Diploma, Bachelor's or Master's degree programs with experience (higher semester) with good German and English language skills and academic performance; intercultural experience and participation in the mandatory training 31.03.2026.
