Project description:
The SEA-Plastic EDU project is a three-year project funded under the Erasmus+ funding scheme, involving 10 partners from Austria, Germany, Denmark, Vietnam and Laos. The aim of the project is to further develop academic education in the field of plastics recycling and to ensure tailor-made training products in the field of vocational training. For this purpose, the establishment of two local training centers is planned, which will serve as a knowledge hub for the exchange of research and practice. Within the framework of the project, tailor-made trainings, courses and lectures will be adapted or newly developed to meet local needs. The target groups are students on the one hand, but also practitioners. In addition to technical course content (material qualities, quality control, employee protection, etc.), there is also a strong focus on sustainable entrepreneurship and business start-ups. On the one hand, the courses pay special attention to financial sustainability, e.g. by supporting the preparation of business plans, resource planning and cost factors (investments, technical equipment, devices, etc.). On the other hand, social aspects are also of great importance, e.g. inclusion of informal actors, establishment of socio-economic enterprises (integration of long-term unemployed).
