Exchange Students from Vietnam via Erasmus+

Supported by the Erasmus+ program we welcomed two guests from Vietnam in spring at our institute. Mr. Vu Viet Thang (Master of Chemical Engineering) and Mr. Nguyen Trung Hieu (PhD in water resource engineering) from Thuy Loi University in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Mr. Thang did a research on Diclofenac removal by UV-light exposure and the influence of titaniumdioxide as photocatalyst on the photocatalytic activity. The experimental set-up was realized in collaboration with colleagues from the project DeGrey.

Mr. Hieu was to this time of his exchange already involved as research associate in the project AquaViet from the Vietnamese side. During his time here in Germany he got to know some project partners from the German side. Moreover, he improved the scientific communication between both countries.
